Greg Padovani, President
Greg, co-founder of PENS Communications Systems, LLC, is one of the pioneers of individualized communications.
In 1995 while at Northwestern in Chicago, he launched the first individualized newsletter system and ran it successfully for three years. During that time, he formulated the basic principles and uncovered the many nuances of this new approach to communications.
Since 1998, he has used this extensive knowledge and experience to build and operate 5th generation PENS applications while providing training and guidance in their usage.
Greg received his B.S. from the University of Illinois and his M.B.A. from De Paul University in Chicago. He is a frequent speaker at national meetings and universities. Don Peppers and Martha Rogers reference his work in their book The One to One Field Guide.
Bill Hamilton, Vice President
Bill, co-founder of PENS Communications Systems, LLC, is Vice President and Director of IT.
After developing and implementing the first PENS system with Greg Padovani, Bill was the creative genius behind the redesigned PENS system that uses cutting edge tools and techniques provided by the InterSystems Corporation. Bill created the new PENS system using the InterSystems CACHE Post-Relational Database, MicroSoft .NET, Web services, XML, SOAP and ODBC – all as an entirely Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) system with 100% Object Oriented Design.
Due to this superlative design, the PENS system is unsurpassed in its capabilities, performance, ease of adaptation and reliability. The new PENS system is being featured at the InterSystems International Developers Convention in 2006.
Previously, Bill had 15 years of experience installing and maintaining major healthcare software systems from EPIC and IDX. His work included analysis, design, and programming, as well as system and database administration on various hardware platforms and operating systems.
Bill received his B.S. degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois.
